Serraia comprises two typically Tuscan buildings that have been carefully restored. There live all year your hosts Michel, Kathrin, David and Cristina. The building is surrounded by a beautiful garden with cypresses, olive trees and a lot of playgrounds for children. Serraia is also home to a brunch of animals: cats, a dog, and a lot of chicken.
The small, medieval village of Radicondoli is only 10 km from Serraia. You can do some basic shopping in two little alimentari and there is also a pharmacy, a bakery, a bank, a post office and some other shops. You will also find a lot of bars and at least two good restaurants.
Vantage point for cultural activities. Due to its convenient location Serraia proves to be the ideal staring point for trips to well-known cultural sites. For example: Florence, Siena, Volterra or San Gimignano, and it takes only one hour.
Especially for kids: Around the house there are a corsair pirate boat, a football field, a kids kitchen and even a climbing wall. If you like you can even help us with the daily feeding of our animals.
Bathing facilities: Convince your parents to drive you (approx. 5 min.) to a little creek nearby where you can swimm and play or to a beautiful river with a waterfall (approx. 20 min.). The sea-side is one hour`s drive from Serraia.
